AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT Coming on August 11th

AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 series is designed to fill in the company’s entry-level GPU portfolio, and it is expected for the RX 6600 XT to go for US$379. It is created and marketed as the ultimate Full HD experience, so anyone who does not necessarily have 4K-enabled monitors and other hardware should find the 6600 XT an exciting prospect. AMD released the stronger RX 6700 XT earlier this year – a graphics card targeted to conquer qHD resolutions (1440p). This GPU had the suggested retail price of US$479.

Radeon RX 6600 XT’s Technical Specifications and Features

Being the newest addition to the RX 6000 series, it is expected for the RX 6600 XT to have revised drivers and should work perfectly straight out of the box. Hardware component-wise, the GPU is supported by 32 individual computing segments, and data moves through 8GB of GDDR6 memory. The GPU is clocked at 2359MHz by default, but there is also an overclocked preset, boosting the performance up to 2589MHz. To put these dry specifications into a bit of context, the top-of-the-line graphics card, RX 6900 XT, features 80 individual computing segments and comes with 16GB of GDDR6 memory, a prerequisite for high performance 4K gaming.

Recent GPU Price Surge Is Shifting Priorities for Consumers

The ongoing chip shortage has left a mark on the GPU market, which has already been ravaged by high demand because people and even large companies are building cryptocurrency mining centers. Because of these two factors, prices are still considered abnormally high compared to previous generations of graphics cards. As a result, many consumers now needed to cut down on their computer build budgets as it was never as expensive as now to have a fully built 4K gaming machine.

To fill in the gaps, many people have started to look for different, more accessible types of entertainment that do not require as much GPU power. The most popular online websites that get used for these purposes are online sportsbooks and casinos. Plenty of reputable websites host various casino and sportsbooks content, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Texas Holdem, variations of poker, and more. In addition, sportsbooks websites enable players to bet on specific sports events occurring at any given time, making it even more fun and exciting to watch.

The Radeon RX 6600 XT Can Run AAA Titles

Despite being the least powerful entry in the RX 6000 series by AMD, the RX 6600 XT can undoubtedly provide a more than satisfying gaming experience, as long as the resolution is at 1080p. For anything more than that, there are plenty of more powerful graphics cards in the RX 6000 series lineup or otherwise. Unfortunately, the base price and the price differences between these GPUs have never been more extensive, so it might be best to lay low for a while and settle for decent 1080p performance in all current AAA games launched for PCs.
