Nintendo and Epic Games today announced a new limited gaming tech bundle including a unique Switch consoled themed after Fortnite. Which would be that planetary popular battle royale phenomenon that’s been going strong in pretty much every measurable respect since the summer of 2017, almost as long as the Switch has been breaking all sales records.
Simply called the Fortnite Special Edition Switch bundle, this particular offering will include a uniquely designed Switch console with a yellow left Joy-Con and a livid blue hue of its right-handed counterpart. Besides that, the ubndle will feature an qually unique Switch dock for connecting the console to a TV or an external monitor, as well as a pre-installed Fortnite build paired with a code that will net you 2,000 V-Bucks to spend at Fortnite’s in-game Item Shop.
That sum of Fortnite in-game currency equates to about $14.27 but isn’t directly comparable to existing V-Bucks bundles whose standardized packs either go way below or above this particular volume of digital currency. A special-edition Wildcat Outfit will also be part of the package, available for redemption from the moment you first start Fortnite on this particular iteration of the Switch.
The whole shebang is scheduled to hit the market on October 30th and will surprisingly be exclusive to Europe, at least for the time being.
